Brooklyn gallery 319 Scholes is hosting DUMP.FM IRL (curated by Lindsay Howard), a week-long exhibit and gathering for image-based chat site, DUMP.FM. DUMP.FM artists will collaborate live to provide visuals for MGMT’s sold-out concert in Miami, Florida, which will viewable online at dump.fm/mgmt. For the past year, DUMP.FM has rapidly become the premiere site for real-time communication with pictures. Part old school chatroom, part pallet for animated .gifs, video, and text, DUMP.FM propels internet fans into a bleak, humorous future filled with art, ideas, and fun.
