Compro Auri or Buy Auri is a nod to the underbelly marketplaces formed in the on and
offline worlds. In New York, this underbelly black market may be most evident in the
corners of the subways, where small vendors sell their wares at an ever-increasing risk.
Bringing the audience out of the gallery space, Compro Auri will be performed in the
subways.
